Gonda: Superintendent of Police, Gonda, Vineet Jaiswal conducted the annual inspection of Motiganj Police Station on Monday and issued several directions aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency, cleanliness, record maintenance and effective policing.
Before beginning the inspection, the Superintendent of Police was accorded a ceremonial guard salute upon his arrival at the police station premises. He then carried out a detailed inspection of various sections of the police station, including the station premises, office, investigation room, women help desk, armoury and other functional branches.
During the inspection, Vineet Jaiswal directed officials to ensure that the police station premises remain clean, organised and properly maintained. He instructed the Station House Officer of Motiganj to keep all official records updated and ensure systematic preservation of documents and registers.
The Superintendent of Police also inspected the armoury and reviewed the condition and maintenance of weapons stored there. Police personnel were asked to demonstrate the opening and closing of firearms to assess their operational efficiency and readiness. He instructed officials to ensure regular cleaning and proper upkeep of all weapons.
Inspecting the mess facility, the SP directed concerned staff to ensure the preparation of nutritious and quality meals for police personnel posted at the station.

During his visit to the Mission Shakti Room and the Women Help Desk, Vineet Jaiswal interacted with the women police personnel deployed there. He reviewed their role in counselling women and girls affected by domestic violence and other crimes against women. He also emphasised the importance of listening to complainants with sensitivity and ensuring prompt and effective action on complaints related to women’s safety.
The Superintendent of Police further examined the crime registers and directed officials to intensify crime control measures and strengthen effective policing in the area. He also checked the beat books maintained by beat constables and questioned them regarding their responsibilities, local intelligence gathering and activities in their respective jurisdictions.
The inspection was attended by Shilpa Verma, the Station House Officer of Motiganj Police Station and other police officials and staff members.
