DM Gonda Directs Timely Resolution of Issues Faced by Industry

Gonda: A joint meeting of Industry Bandhu, Trade Bandhu and Shram Bandhu was held at the District Panchayat Auditorium under the chairmanship of Priyanka Niranjan to review pending issues related to industries, traders and labour organisations in the district.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate reviewed the status of compliance on decisions taken in previous meetings and directed officials to ensure the prompt resolution of issues raised by entrepreneurs and business representatives. She instructed concerned departments to process applications only after verifying the eligibility of applicants and ensuring completion of all required formalities before forwarding them for approval.

Priyanka Niranjan also directed departmental officials to expedite the disposal of all pending cases and ensure quality-driven and timely solutions to concerns raised by industry bodies, traders and labour representatives.

Emphasising the importance of cooperation between administrative departments and business communities, the District Magistrate instructed officials from the Industries Department and other concerned departments to provide all necessary support to industrialists, traders and labour groups to facilitate smoother business operations in the district.

During the interaction, traders and industry representatives presented various suggestions and issues, following which the District Magistrate asked officials to work collectively to ensure timely redressal of grievances.

The meeting also included a review of several government schemes, including the Youth Employment Scheme and initiatives linked to the Investors Summit.

One of the major concerns highlighted during the meeting was the increasing traffic congestion caused by encroachments in different parts of the city. Representatives informed the administration that encroachment-related traffic jams had become a major issue affecting daily movement and business activity.

Taking serious note of the matter, Priyanka Niranjan directed the concerned officials to identify encroachment-prone areas and form dedicated teams to carry out removal drives to help ease traffic congestion and improve public convenience.

The meeting was attended by Dayanand Prasad, Baburam, Vinod Tiwari, officials from the Income Tax Department, representatives of Industry Bandhu, Trade Bandhu and Shram Bandhu, along with other district-level officers.
