He said, “You can’t do it 100 percent, but you can do it 80-90 percent. I have a specialized regime that I get done without breaking it. There is no need to break it. I have always said adjustment can settle your life. There is no big problem in it. It makes a big difference who has to give this room and who has to give that room.”

He lays out a few non-negotiable rules when it comes to bedroom placement and setup. “The first thing is that there should not be a bedroom in the Northeast. There should not be a temple in your bedroom in the Northeast. There should not be a mirror in front of your bed. There should not be a pillar on your bed,” he said.
Beyond the room’s position within the house, he adds that the orientation of the bed itself matters just as much. “The main thing is which direction your bedroom is, which is seen. Even if your bedroom is in the wrong direction, it will have a negative impact,” he said.

When questioned about the Vastu of a house built with no changes allowed, he said, “First of all, get this out of your mind, whether I have a problem or not. Don’t start by thinking that something is wrong with your house.”
“First understand what is affecting you, where the imbalance is, and what can be adjusted. You don’t always have to break things or make major structural changes. With the right adjustments, you can correct a lot and bring balance into your life,” Ajit ended.
