Lucknow: The annual administrative inspection of the 19 UP Girls Battalion NCC, Lucknow Unit, was conducted with discipline and enthusiasm on Thursday under the supervision of Brigadier Puneet Srivastava. The inspection took place from 10 am to 12 noon and reviewed the battalion’s administrative functioning, training standards, and developmental activities.
The visiting officer was formally welcomed by Colonel (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Pathak along with Subedar Major Kishore Lal. NCC cadets presented a spirited Guard of Honour, showcasing discipline, coordination, and confidence. Brigadier Srivastava appreciated the cadets for their impressive performance and dedication.
As part of the inspection, an introduction parade was organized where the senior ANO, GCI, PI staff, and civil staff members were individually introduced to the inspecting officer. The interaction provided an opportunity for the officer to understand the structure and functioning of the unit closely.
Later, Colonel Pathak briefed Brigadier Srivastava on the battalion’s developmental initiatives, training activities, and administrative achievements during a detailed discussion held in the command office. During the interaction, the Group Commander also shared important suggestions and issued necessary directions aimed at further strengthening the unit’s performance and training standards.

The inspection continued with a visit to various departments, training halls, and other facilities within the battalion premises. Brigadier Srivastava reviewed the arrangements and interacted with officials regarding ongoing activities and infrastructure management.
The event concluded with a brief refreshment session attended by all staff members, followed by a group photograph ceremony. The inspection ended on a positive note as the officers and staff bid farewell to the visiting Group Commander after a successful and constructive administrative review.
