Bengaluru: NIA has detained two suspected accused in the Rameshwaram cafe blast case. This has been confirmed by the investigating agency itself. Initial investigation has revealed that both of them were in contact with the suspected attacker.
NIA has arrested this suspect from the capital Bengaluru. However, NIA has not issued any statement yet. NIA and CCB have intensified search operations across the state, but the main attacker is still away from the radar of the investigating agency.
However, the investigating agency got pictures of the main attacker from CCTV footage. After this incident, a CCTV came to light on March 1. The investigating agencies have tried to identify the accused on that basis. Sources say that the NIA suspects that the main attacker had come from Tamil Nadu and then stayed in Karnataka for a few months, when he carried out the attack.
Officials have sent the hair of the accused for DNA testing. Officials hope it will be a big success. On March 1, a blast was carried out in Rameshwaram Cafe on International Technology Park Limited (ITPL) Road in Brookfield area. IDD was used in this blast. 9 people were injured in this attack.
