Lucknow: Indian shooters delivered an impressive performance at the 8th International Reflex Shooting Cup 2026 held in Genk, Belgium, from May 22 to 25. Among the standout performers was Indian shooter Noman Ahmad Malik, who clinched the gold medal in the Mixed Team Junior Men category, bringing pride to the country on the international stage. The prestigious competition was organized by the Reflex Sport Shooting Foundation under ISSF rules at the SportinGenk venue, featuring air rifle and air pistol events for senior and junior shooters using electronic INTARSO targets.
The Indian contingent enjoyed a successful campaign with a total haul of five medals. Shreyansh Tripathi emerged as another star performer, winning two gold medals, a bronze in the Super Final, and earning the title of “Super Champion of the Champions” along with a cash prize. Manvendra Prasad secured a bronze medal in the Mixed Team Senior Men event. Several Indian shooters also qualified for upcoming championships in Luxembourg and Wales.
