Lucknow: Preparations have intensified in Lucknow for the first T20 International between India and the West Indies, scheduled for October 6 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) held a ticket launch and press briefing on Saturday, outlining arrangements for the much-awaited international fixture.
UPCA Secretary Prem Manohar Gupta said preparations for the match are progressing and all necessary arrangements are being finalised. Ticket prices have been kept accessible, with the cheapest ticket priced at ₹399. The most expensive tickets, for Blocks A and B of the South Lounge, will cost ₹13,500.
UPCA Treasurer Sachin Anand Shukla said online ticket sales have begun through the District app by Zomato.
With considerable excitement among cricket fans, the organisers expect a large turnout at the stadium.
Mohammad Faheem, Chairman of the UPCA Media Committee, said the association is committed to successfully hosting another international fixture in Lucknow and providing spectators with a memorable experience.
Ekana Sports City CMD Uday Sinha said preparations at the stadium are progressing rapidly, with special attention being given to spectator facilities and overall match-day arrangements.
