Mumbai: Recognising the growing financial and cash flow management needs of small and emerging businesses, IDFC FIRST Bank has launched its new FD-backed Business Multiplier Metal Credit Card, designed specifically for founders, entrepreneurs and business owners.
The bank said that many small business operators continue to rely on personal credit or debit cards for business-related expenses, often making it difficult to separate personal and professional spending. The newly launched premium metal card aims to address this challenge by offering dedicated business credit support along with enhanced spending flexibility and rewards.
One of the key features of the Business Multiplier Metal Credit Card is that both the business name and the cardholder’s name will appear on the card, strengthening its professional identity. The card also offers a separate credit limit for business expenses, helping users manage personal and business finances more efficiently.
Speaking about the launch, Shirish Bhandari said the card has been developed for business owners who require greater flexibility, smoother payment experiences and stronger credit support for day-to-day operations.
The card can be used for a wide range of business-related expenses, including office supplies, digital marketing, software subscriptions, business travel, international transactions and employee-related payments.

Cardholders will also receive benefits such as up to 45 days of interest-free credit, zero forex markup on international transactions, UPI payment support and higher reward points across business spending categories.
According to the bank, the card is available against a fixed deposit starting from ₹50,000 and offers a credit limit of up to 100 percent of the FD value. The joining and annual fee for the card has been set at ₹1,000, which can be waived if the user spends ₹5 lakh within a year.
With the launch of the Business Multiplier Metal Credit Card, IDFC FIRST Bank aims to provide small businesses and entrepreneurs with a more structured and rewarding approach to managing their operational expenses.
