Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to strike a chord with audiences through its heartfelt storytelling and emotionally engaging characters. While the show has been winning appreciation on screen, the camaraderie shared by the cast behind the scenes has also become a special part of the journey.
Among the many friendships formed during the shoot, the bond between Srishti Singh and Gulki Joshi stands out for its unique mix of calmness and spontaneity. On screen, Srishti essays the role of Dr. Vaani, while Gulki portrays Dr. Srishty Agarwal. Their characters share mutual admiration and understanding, and that comfort seamlessly extends into their off-screen friendship as well.
Known for her composed and grounded personality, Gulki often brings a sense of calm to the set, while Srishti’s playful and energetic nature keeps the atmosphere lively. From rehearsals and emotional scenes to fun moments between takes, the duo shares a natural equation that adds warmth to the shooting environment.
Speaking about their friendship, Srishti Singh said, “Gulki has a very calming energy on set. No matter how hectic the day gets or how emotionally intense a scene is, she always manages to stay composed and grounded. I’m quite the opposite, as I’m usually playful — so together we create a really fun balance. There are moments where we are discussing scenes seriously and the next minute I’m making everyone laugh or pulling a prank. What’s lovely is that we understand each other’s rhythm so well now and that comfort reflects naturally on screen too. It genuinely feels like we’re creating memories along with the show.”
