During the meeting, the District Magistrate assessed the progress of enforcement actions carried out by various departments and emphasized the need for intensified efforts to prevent violations of mining regulations. Avinash Singh instructed officers from the mining, revenue, police, transport, and other concerned departments to work in close coordination to ensure effective monitoring and enforcement. He stressed that regular surveillance should be maintained in identified hotspots to prevent unlawful extraction and movement of minerals.

Special emphasis was also placed on the verification of documents used in the transportation of minerals. Officials were instructed to conduct regular inspections of transit permits, e-Ravana documents, and ISTP records to detect irregularities. Any discrepancies or instances of misuse, he said, should be dealt with promptly through appropriate legal action.
