Lucknow: Aspiring law students in Lucknow received valuable guidance and inspiration on Saturday as CLAT 2026 All India Rank 1 holder Geetali Gupta interacted with students during a special “Toppers Talk” session organized by Toprankers. The event drew nearly 400 law entrance aspirants eager to learn from the topper’s journey and preparation strategy.
The session held special significance as Geetali prepared for CLAT under the guidance of Toprankers and went on to secure the coveted All India Rank 1, bringing national recognition to the institute.
The program was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Yogendra Chauhan, Additional District Judge, Hardoi; CLAT 2026 topper Geetali Gupta; and Vishal Sharma, Centre Director of Toprankers Lucknow.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Yogendra Chauhan emphasized the importance of perseverance, discipline, and proper mentorship in achieving success. Encouraging students to pursue excellence in the legal profession, he said dedication and determination can help individuals overcome any challenge and achieve their goals.
During the interactive session, Geetali Gupta shared detailed insights into her preparation journey, study methods, time-management techniques, and examination strategy. Students actively engaged with her, seeking advice on topics ranging from study material selection and mock tests to stress management and balancing CLAT preparation with school studies.
Answering questions from participants, Geetali explained how she successfully managed her Class 12 studies alongside CLAT preparation. She discussed the techniques she used to approach different sections of the examination and highlighted the importance of consistent mock test practice, effective time management, and staying updated with current affairs.
She particularly stressed that regular revision and a strong focus on General Knowledge played a crucial role in her success.
The event also featured inspiring stories from other high-achieving CLAT candidates. Shauryavardhan Trivedi from Lucknow shared how he transformed an initial setback into success. After securing a rank beyond 2,700 in CLAT 2025, he chose not to give up and dedicated an additional year to preparation. His perseverance paid off when he achieved AIR 78 in CLAT 2026, earning admission to the prestigious National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.

Another inspiring speaker, Apoorv Shri, recounted his personal journey of overcoming depression and making the difficult decision to leave engineering preparation in pursuit of a legal career. His determination eventually secured him admission to NLSIU Bengaluru, motivating students to choose careers aligned with their genuine interests and aspirations.
Speaking at the event, Vishal Sharma, Centre Director of Toprankers Lucknow, said the institution’s mission extends beyond preparing students for entrance examinations. “Our objective is to help students develop into successful legal professionals and future leaders in the field of law,” he said.
He also highlighted that Toprankers provides mentorship through an experienced team of National Law University alumni who guide students throughout their preparation journey.
Faculty members including Avneesh Mishra of NLU Visakhapatnam and Istuvi Sonkar, associated with NLSIU Bengaluru and Symbiosis Law School, Pune, also addressed students and answered their queries regarding law entrance examinations, legal education, and career opportunities in the legal profession.
The event concluded with an open interaction session where students and parents engaged directly with toppers and legal education experts. Participants gained valuable insights into CLAT preparation strategies, career prospects in law, and the opportunities offered by premier legal institutions.
