LUCKNOW — Highlighting organizational unity, patriotic fervor, and military-grade discipline, the trainees of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Eastern Uttar Pradesh region executed a magnificent Path Sanchalan (ceremonial route march) through the state capital on Thursday. The march was organized as a core operational feature of the ongoing Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Pratham (Workers’ Development Course-First) training camp. The intensive residency program, which commenced on May 22 at Saraswati Kunj in Nirala Nagar, brings together 289 select volunteers drawing from four regional provinces: Kashi, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, and Awadh.
🗺️ The Route: Navigating the Capital’s Core
The ceremonial march commenced on Thursday evening from the foundational grounds of Saraswati Kunj in Nirala Nagar. Moving in highly synchronized formations, the contingent traversed several prominent intersections and neighborhoods across the city, including:
-
Eight Number Chauraha
-
Vivekanandpuri
-
Mahanagar
-
IT Metro Station and IT Chauraha
-
Sri Ramakrishna Math frontages
After covering the designated public circuit, the marchers circled back, safely returning to the primary training campsite to conclude the exercise.
🌸 Public Reception: Discipline Meets Devotion
As the column of uniform-clad volunteers advanced through the city streets, they were met with overwhelming community warmth. Local residents and shopkeepers lined the roadsides at multiple vantage points, showering the passing swayamsevaks (volunteers) with handfuls of fresh flower petals to welcome them.
Moving in absolute unison to the rhythmic, traditional compositions played by the RSS Ghosh (brass and drum musical band), the trainees presented a powerful public demonstration of collective discipline, organizational strength, patriotism, and structured teamwork.
