AKTU’s Commendable Initiative: Faculty and Staff Join Families for a Special Screening of ‘Krishnavataram’

LUCKNOW — Moving beyond the conventional boundaries of technical education, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is actively taking steps to preserve and promote Indian culture, tradition, and heritage.

In a unique initiative led by Vice-Chancellor Professor J.P. Pandey, the university organized a special collective screening of the film Krishnavataram—a cinematic work based on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. The event brought together the university’s entire ecosystem, including professors, administrative officers, and staff members, who attended the screening alongside their families.

🌟 Strengthening Cultural Roots and Community Bonds

The screening served a dual purpose for the AKTU community. Beyond offering an immersive look into ancient Indian civilization and philosophy, the event acted as a major community-building exercise, fostering mutual harmony and a stronger sense of camaraderie among the university personnel. Observers noted that the film effectively provides a fresh perspective on the contemporary Indian social fabric.

The cultural program was made possible through corporate social responsibility (CSR) support, with HDFC Bank partnering with the university to fund and facilitate the event.
