Lucknow: Traditional crafts, regional cuisine and modern products from across Uttar Pradesh will get a global platform at the fourth Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, being held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.
Varanasi will be represented by 45 entrepreneurs, showcasing the city’s distinctive Banarasi silk, wooden toys, Gulabi Meenakari, soft-stone jali work, handmade silk products and natural wellness items. The participation includes entrepreneurs associated with ODOP, MSMEs, GI products, established and new exporters, ODOC and the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Industries Abhishek Priyadarshi, the Varanasi contingent includes 15 ODOP participants, seven MSMEs, seven new exporters, one established exporter, 10 GI-product entrepreneurs, four ODOC participants and one entrepreneur under the Chief Minister’s youth scheme. Visitors will also get to sample local specialities such as launglata, tiranga barfi and Banarasi paan.
Ayodhya will showcase both its traditional cuisine and emerging enterprise. Kulhad dahi-jalebi and khurchan peda will feature alongside chikankari products and battery-manufacturing products. Officials said the Ayodhya stall would combine the city’s culinary and craft traditions with its growing MSME base.
Prayagraj will also have a significant presence, with entrepreneurs showcasing moonj handicrafts, packaged samosas, garments, embroidery, hand-printing and fragrances. The Perfect Bazaar will display eco-friendly moonj products, while Munda Snacks will present packaged dry samosas designed for longer shelf life. Selected apparel enterprises will showcase khadi, cotton, embroidery and hand-printed products, while Whiffhaus Fragrance will display a range of traditional and contemporary perfumes.

Beyond regional products, UPITS 2026 will highlight Uttar Pradesh’s investment and industrial ecosystem. Invest UP is setting up dedicated pavilions in Halls 1 and 4, where investors and business representatives will receive information on more than 36 sector-specific policies and investment incentives.
Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Austria and Belarus are participating as partner countries. Around 100 international buyers are expected to explore sourcing opportunities, while 36 foreign exhibitors will showcase products and technologies.
B2B meetings, country sessions, executive roundtables and sector-specific discussions will focus on supply chains, electronics, semiconductors, ESDM, pharma, medtech, textiles, apparel, food processing and industrial investment.
The trade show is expected to connect Uttar Pradesh’s ODOP products, MSMEs, handicrafts, textiles, agriculture and food-processing enterprises with wider domestic and international markets, creating opportunities for new business partnerships, exports, investment and technology collaboration.
