Lucknow: Governor Anandiben Patel reviewed the proposal presented for quality improvements in the upper primary school located in the Raj Bhavan complex here and provided comprehensive guidelines. The Governor was reviewing the ongoing construction work at Raj Bhavan and the previous instructions for improvement in the upper primary school located here along with the officers posted at Raj Bhavan.
In this sequence, the Governor has provided proper chairs, tables, benches, computer rooms and computer sets, smart classes, store rooms for sports goods and food items, clean water for drinking, toilets, sports facilities for children to sit in the school.
Instructions were given to make all the arrangements required for the school like grounds, place of prayer meeting etc. of quality. She said that all the arrangements of the school should be made modern, so that children can get the benefit of a school with modern facilities.
She said that all the children willing to take admission in the school from outside Raj Bhavan should be given admission. She stressed on making arrangements to benefit all the children admitted in school from modern education.
The Governor also reviewed the construction work already going on at Raj Bhavan. He said that the executing agency or person who does not complete the work on time should be given notice for the delay. While directing the concerned officers, he said that they should make a report on the progress of the construction works every month and also review the completion of the work within the stipulated time period.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Special Secretary B.N. Singh, officials of Public Works Department at Raj Bhavan and other concerned officers and employees were present.
