Lucknow: City International School Juniors, Gomti Nagar Extension, organised a health check-up camp on its premises in collaboration with Medanta Hospitals during a parent-teacher meeting (PTM), providing students and their parents access to medical examinations and expert healthcare advice.
The initiative aimed to make healthcare more accessible to families by bringing medical consultations to the school campus alongside routine academic interactions.

Paediatricians and general physicians attended the camp, examining children and parents and offering medical advice wherever required. The initiative also highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups, early detection of illnesses and adopting healthy lifestyle practices.
According to the school management, such programmes help families access expert medical guidance despite their busy schedules. The institution emphasised that children’s health, safety and overall well-being are as important as their academic progress.

City International School Juniors caters to children from playgroup to Class V and also provides daycare facilities. The school focuses on building a strong foundation for children’s intellectual, emotional and physical development during their formative years.
The management believes that education must go hand in hand with healthy habits, personality development and family involvement to ensure children’s holistic growth.
The health camp, organised in association with Medanta Hospitals, was described as an effort to strengthen the connection between education and healthcare. The school reiterated its commitment to organising similar initiatives in the future, underlining the importance of quality education, good health and parental support in shaping children’s futures.
