Central Asia’s New Financial Hub: Tamchi SFIT Opens Landmark First Business Center

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan — In a major move that signals its transition from a regulatory framework into an active economic force, the Tamchi Special Financial Investment Territory (Tamchi SFIT) has officially inaugurated its first business center along the scenic shores of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Lake. The milestone facility is now fully prepared to welcome its inaugural wave of resident international companies.

A Modern Launchpad for Global Commerce

Spanning an impressive 3,850 square meters, the newly opened facility is engineered to serve as a world-class corporate hub. It features premium office setups, flexible co-working ecosystems, multi-purpose conference halls, and advanced meeting rooms designed for high-level corporate dealmaking. To accommodate international executives, upscale restaurants and cafes are slated to open within the complex in the coming months.

Bridging Continental Markets

Speaking at the inauguration, Ayaz Betov, Chairman of the Tamchi SFIT Management Council and the Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the strategic timing of the launch:

“Tamchi SFIT emerges at a time when international businesses are actively seeking new anchors of trust. The opening of our first business center marks the beginning of real operational life in this territory. We are building a financial and logistical bridge between the markets of the CIS, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Today, that bridge has found its first address.”

Foundations for Global Governance and Dispute Resolution

Ahead of the public ribbon-cutting, the Management Council finalized crucial structural milestones, including establishing the core management company, approving the master financial center development plan, and adopting its initial package of regulatory measures. Furthermore, the selection process is officially underway to appoint judges and the President for the territory’s independent International Center for Dispute Resolution.

An Unrivaled Regulatory Safe Haven

Established under the Kyrgyz Republic’s Law No. 136 on July 10, 2025, Tamchi SFIT encompasses a massive 6,000-hectare zone along Issyk-Kul Lake. The jurisdiction offers an incredibly aggressive fiscal incentive package to attract global enterprises:

  • Legal Framework: Operating entirely under English Common Law principles to ensure absolute legal clarity and investor protection.

  • Fiscal Incentives: A guaranteed 0% tax rate for 49 years.

  • Capital Freedom: Full, unrestricted right to the repatriation of profits.

Vision 2035: Driving Regional Transformation

With its physical infrastructure now coming online, Tamchi SFIT is positioning itself as a primary driver of economic growth in Central Asia. By the year 2035, the special territory aims to host more than 3,900 active resident companies, transforming the Issyk-Kul region into a booming financial oasis and creating over 10,000 high-skilled jobs.
