Lucknow: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and Hyderabad’s renowned T-Hub have entered into a partnership to drive innovation and support startups in Uttar Pradesh. T-Hub, one of the country’s leading institutions for innovation and startups, will now collaborate with AKTU to train students and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing them with the skills and knowledge required to launch and manage successful startups.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at T-Hub, Hyderabad, between Keshav Singh, AKTU’s Finance Officer, and Sujit Jaghirdar, CEO of T-Hub. The MoU marks the beginning of a strategic alliance that will provide substantial benefits to the innovation and startup ecosystem.
As part of this collaboration, a three-day Capacity Building Workshop is being conducted at T-Hub from January 9 to 11, 2025, for representatives of 40 newly established pre-incubation centers from AKTU. These representatives are receiving specialized training in incubation, operations, onboarding, mentoring, and other essential elements of building successful startups.
T-Hub’s experts are guiding the participants on how to nurture new ideas and transform them into thriving businesses. The workshop aims to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen their pre-incubation centers and maximize their potential in fostering innovation.
The event also saw the presence of Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, Associate Dean of Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, Yamini Jain, Finance Officer, Maheep Singh, Head of AKTU’s Innovation Hub, and Vandana Sharma among other key officials.
This collaboration between AKTU and T-Hub is set to create a significant impact on the innovation landscape in Uttar Pradesh, offering students and entrepreneurs valuable resources and mentorship to bring their ideas to fruition.
