Lucknow: The election process for the upcoming leadership of the Buddheshwar Udyog Vyapar Mandal, an affiliated unit of the Lucknow Vyapar Mandal, officially commenced with the sale of nomination forms at Lodhi Bhawan.
The process marks the beginning of organisational elections for key posts in the trade body, which represents a significant section of local traders and business stakeholders in the Buddheshwar area.
The event was attended by several senior office bearers and election officials, including Lucknow Vyapar Mandal General Secretary Umesh Sharma, election officer Rashid Bhai, councillors Dharmendra Singh, Ram Shankar Rajput, Tara Chand Rawat, Devidas Agrawal, Rajesh Shukla, Irshad Ahmed (Guddu), and S.P. Pandey.
Other prominent attendees included Shivam Pandey, advisor of Kakori Mod Vyapar Mandal, and Neeraj Shukla, Secretary of the Lucknow Vyapar Mandal election office, along with several other dignitaries from the business community.

Election officer Ram Shankar Rajput informed that a total of 17 nomination forms have been sold for 8 organisational posts. He further announced that the last date for submitting nomination forms has been fixed as May 7, 2026.
The election committee has appealed to all concerned traders and members to complete the nomination process within the stipulated time frame to ensure a smooth, transparent, and fair electoral process.
The upcoming election is expected to play a key role in strengthening the organisational structure of the trade body and addressing the concerns of the local business community.
