Use Virtual Labs and Online Platforms, B.Tech Students Urged at AKTU Visit

Lucknow: A delegation of B.Tech students from Maa Pateshwari Devi Government Engineering College, Gonda, visited Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University to explore innovation and digital learning opportunities.

During the visit, students were briefed about the university’s facilities, toured various laboratories, learned about ongoing innovations, and accessed the digital library. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey guided the students and announced that modern amenities, smart classrooms, and hi-tech hostels would soon be provided in their college.

He encouraged students to pursue NPTEL online courses, skill-based programs, and actively use virtual labs to enhance practical learning. “No matter how difficult the situation, never lose courage,” he advised.

Prof. B.N. Mishra, Director of the college and Dean (Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship), shared upcoming plans and facilities. Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma also shared his experiences.

The objective of the visit was to connect students with innovation, startup culture, and the university’s incubation ecosystem. Innovation Hub Head Mahip Singh and Manager Vandana Sharma explained how students can turn ideas into startups using university resources.

Representatives of successful startups shared their entrepreneurial journeys. Students also visited Infosys Maker Lab, Idea Lab, Google Lab, Kalam Incubation Centre, and Innovation Hub, where experts explained the latest technologies, tools, and research projects.

Students witnessed cutting-edge innovations and interacted with experts. Anurag Tripathi, Anurag Chaubey, and several students were present during the visit.
