Lucknow: Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools successfully concluded the 2026 edition of its Annual Principals Meet, bringing together more than 60 senior school leaders from across the Jaipuria network. Organized under the banner of the Jaipuria Leadership Program (JLP), the event served as a platform for discussions on leadership development, academic planning, institutional review, and the future of school education.
Representatives from campuses spread across more than 50 cities participated in the programme, engaging in deliberations on school culture, faculty development, student well-being, academic excellence, and the evolving expectations from schools under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Special emphasis was also placed on the growing role of technology in teaching, learning and school administration.
The discussions explored how school leaders can move beyond conventional management practices and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create learning environments that support holistic student development and address emerging educational needs.
Addressing the gathering, Kanak Gupta, Director, Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools, said, “The world is changing much faster than we can imagine, and AI will become exponentially more advanced in the coming decades. It is essential for educational institutions to evolve alongside these changes. The future will be shaped not only by culture but also by technology.”
One of the major highlights of the event was the peer-learning exchange and institutional review sessions, where school leaders shared experiences, discussed challenges and presented innovative practices that can be replicated across campuses. Presentations were delivered using the Japanese storytelling format Pecha Kucha, enabling concise and engaging knowledge sharing.
The programme also provided leaders an opportunity to reflect on how school culture, data-driven decision-making, feedback systems and parent partnerships can contribute to stronger institutions and improved learning outcomes.
During the event, Jaipuria Schools unveiled “Jaipuria Classroom Edge,” a new classroom observation framework designed to replace traditional audit-based systems. The initiative seeks to transform classroom observation from an evaluative exercise into a developmental process focused on teacher growth and continuous improvement.

Speaking about the initiative, Arijit Ghosh, Vice President–Academics, Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools, said, “The word ‘audit’ has been removed from our system. Today, our focus is not on identifying shortcomings but on understanding and improving together. Teacher monitoring is no longer about supervision; it is about enabling professional growth.”
The academic review also highlighted findings from benchmark assessments conducted among students of Classes III, V and VIII over the past four years. Presenting the analysis, Ghosh noted that performance improvement between baseline and endline assessments increased from 2.9 percent in the first year to 6.9 percent in the third year, reflecting the positive impact of teacher support and focused student practice. Although lower participation affected overall gains in the fourth year, the results continued to validate improvements in classroom learning outcomes.
Another key attraction of the event was the formal launch of “Jagruti,” a student leadership laboratory for the Jaipuria Schools Student Leaders’ Council. The initiative aims to nurture leadership qualities among students from an early age and strengthen student engagement across the institution’s network of schools.
Summing up the significance of the event, Kanak Gupta said, “Strong schools are built on strong leadership. The Annual Principals Meet provides our school leaders with a platform to learn from one another, exchange ideas and work collectively towards enhancing learning outcomes for students across the network.”
The Annual Principals Meet 2026 reaffirmed Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools’ commitment to educational innovation, collaborative leadership, teacher development and preparing students for a rapidly evolving future.
