Lucknow: Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus, Lucknow, in association with Abhivriddhi Innovation & Consultants Private Limited, organised an enlightening training session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Saturday, 27 June 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Saumyata Pandey, a Government-certified PoSH and POCSO Trainer and Consultant, renowned for her expertise in child protection laws and workplace safety.
The programme was attended by the Principal, teachers, and staff members, all of whom actively participated in the interactive discussions. Dr. Pandey explained the key provisions of the POCSO Act, highlighting the legal responsibilities of educators, the importance of recognising signs of abuse, and the procedures for timely reporting and intervention. Through practical examples and case studies, she sensitised the participants to their vital role in creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for every child.
The session also emphasised preventive measures, ethical conduct, confidentiality, and the significance of building trust between students and educators. Participants were encouraged to remain vigilant, empathetic, and proactive in addressing issues related to child safety and well-being.

The training concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, enabling participants to clarify their doubts and deepen their understanding of the Act. The programme proved to be highly informative and reaffirmed the school’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment for all students.
