Free Health Check-up Camp Held at Amrawati Sports City

Lucknow: A free health check-up camp was organised at Amrawati Sports City in association with Medanta Hospital, offering residents and visitors access to basic health screenings and consultations with specialist doctors. More than 60 people attended the camp and benefited from complimentary medical consultations and diagnostic tests.

The initiative was designed to promote preventive healthcare and encourage people to identify possible health concerns at an early stage. Participants underwent a range of screenings, including blood pressure and random blood sugar tests, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Bone Mineral Density (BMD) assessment and Electrocardiogram (ECG).

After the tests, specialist doctors reviewed the results and offered individual guidance and medical recommendations based on the participants’ health profiles.

Ravi Prakash Pandey, Founder and Chairman, Amrawati Group, said the organisation’s vision goes beyond developing a modern sports city and includes creating an environment that promotes fitness, wellness and healthy living. He said sports and good health are closely linked and that such initiatives can help strengthen awareness about preventive healthcare.

Medical experts at the camp emphasised the importance of regular health assessments, noting that conditions such as high blood pressure and elevated blood sugar can sometimes remain undetected in their early stages. They advised people to undergo periodic screenings and consult qualified doctors whenever test results are abnormal or health concerns arise.

The camp also encouraged participants to remain physically active, exercise regularly and monitor their health through timely medical check-ups.
