Sitapur: In a major breakthrough, a joint team of the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Talgaon police arrested a wanted criminal with a ₹25,000 bounty after an encounter on Friday morning in the Tambour police station area. The accused, Mahboob Alam alias Bala, wanted under the Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, sustained a bullet injury in his leg before being apprehended by the police.
