Lucknow – The Uttar Pradesh State Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) organized an interactive industry meet on March 21 at PHD House, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The primary focus of the meeting was to foster internal collaboration among industry members, explore investment opportunities in solar energy production and storage, encourage industrial participation, and position Uttar Pradesh as a global hub for electric mobility development and manufacturing.
The forum saw the participation of over 50 prominent stakeholders, including Rajesh Nigam, Co-Chairman, UP State Chapter, PHDCCI; Sanjiv Sareen, Chair, Retail State Sub-Committee; senior members Sanjeev Agarwal, Rajat Mehra, Raghav Agarwal, Phulvi Agarwal, Avinash Ghai; and Atul Srivastava, Regional Director, UP State Chapter, PHDCCI.
Mr. Rajesh Nigam emphasized the importance of business diversification for industry members. He urged participants to explore investment avenues across sectors and collaborate with the government to strengthen the state’s industrial ecosystem. He highlighted that boosting SGDP, trade growth, and employment ratios is key to achieving the goal of a $1 trillion economy.
Delivering the keynote address, Phulvi Agarwal, Co-founder of Hyone Energy and Director at Vitade Industries Pvt. Ltd., discussed the importance of leveraging Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks for MSME growth. Her address covered sustainability practices, ESG compliance, and green financing strategies within the industry.
In his concluding remarks, Atul Srivastava expressed gratitude for the continued collaboration between PHDCCI and its members. He also shared details of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo (UPEX 2025), scheduled from May 8–10, 2025 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. The expo aims to promote Uttar Pradesh as a leading investment destination in the solar sector, showcase advances in smart grid technology and energy management, and further support the state’s emergence as a global hub for electric mobility manufacturing.
