Improving essential infrastructure was another major focus of the inspection. The early operationalisation of the Sewage Treatment Plant and Cold Store was highlighted as an important requirement. The participants also stressed the need for an efficient waste disposal system to ensure proper sanitation and environmental management within the industrial area.

Adequate and reliable power supply for existing as well as upcoming industrial units was also discussed. In this regard, the need to upgrade the electricity sub-station was emphasised so that the area’s future industrial expansion can be supported without power-related constraints.

The construction of a boundary wall around the industrial area was also raised as an important requirement to strengthen security and ensure better management of the premises.
