Lucknow: Thakurganj police have arrested a man for selling illegal and adulterated liquor with fake hallmarking. The accused, Anil Singh, was apprehended with a large quantity of illicit liquor.
Under the leadership of Inspector Shrikant Rai, the police team successfully nabbed the accused. Authorities have reported that a total of 22 cartons of liquor were seized from Anil Singh, with an estimated market value of Rs 2.5 lakh.
Police officials have stated that strict action will be taken against those involved in the illegal liquor trade. Investigations are ongoing to determine if the accused has any links to a larger network of illicit liquor distribution.
