UP Roadways Employees’ Delegation Meets Managing Director Prabhu Narayan Singh

Discussions Held on Employee Welfare and Measures to Boost Corporation’s Revenue

Lucknow: A delegation from the Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Joint Council met the Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), Prabhu Narayan Singh (IAS), in Lucknow. The delegation extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Managing Director and expressed best wishes for his tenure.

During the courtesy meeting, Council General Secretary Girish Chandra Mishra held a brief discussion on several key issues concerning the corporation and its employees, as well as on strategies to enhance the revenue of UPSRTC. The representatives highlighted the need for operational improvements and employee welfare initiatives that could strengthen the overall functioning of the corporation.

The Council also submitted a set of suggestions aimed at improving the corporation’s performance and passenger services, which the Managing Director took note of with seriousness. He assured the delegation that these proposals would be carefully reviewed and considered for implementation.

Singh further assured that a detailed discussion with the Roadways Employees Council would be convened soon to address the concerns and challenges faced by both the corporation and its workforce.

The delegation included Council President Girija Shankar Tiwari, General Secretary Girish Chandra Mishra, Deputy General Secretary Satish Kumar Verma, and Treasurer B.K. Shukla.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing commitment toward collaborative efforts for the betterment of the corporation and the welfare of its employees.
