Youth get motivation to turn self reliant

World Entrepreneurship Day

Lucknow: A grand entrepreneurship promotion conference was organized under the Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The objective of this conference was to motivate the youth of the state to become self-reliant and to advance them in the field of entrepreneurship by providing them the necessary resources.

This important program will be organized from 21 August to 2 October, under which activities related to entrepreneurship promotion will be organized in various colleges and universities.

This campaign was launched in the auditorium of Skill Development Mission located in Aliganj, Lucknow, where the State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal participated as the chief guest.

In his address, he said that such events play an important role in making the youth self-reliant and the government is also committed to provide all possible support in this direction.

The keynote speaker of the program, Mission Director Abhishek Singh, while motivating the youth, said that in today’s era, entrepreneurship is not only a means of job creation, but it is also necessary for the overall development of the society. He encouraged the youth to come into this field and informed about various government schemes through which young entrepreneurs can realize their dreams.

Among the special guests were Rashmi Singh, IAS, RSS Special Contact Head Prashant Bhatia and Swadeshi Jagran Manch Area Convenor Anupam Srivastava. In their speeches, they emphasized the need for Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan and appealed to the youth to actively participate in this campaign.

During this conference, the plan to provide loans to the youth in the field of entrepreneurship was also discussed. Bank of India promised to play the role of lead bank in this initiative. The General Manager of Bank of India said that the bank will fully cooperate in this direction and provide the necessary financial assistance to the youth so that they can set up their enterprises and contribute to the economic development of the country.

Entrepreneurs were also honored in this program. Apart from this, a book related to entrepreneurship was also released, which will provide guidance to the youth in this field. The program was presided over by Department Sanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Arvind Jain.
