SBI Settles ₹40 Lakh Personal Accident Insurance Claim in Gonda

Gonda: Demonstrating its commitment to customer welfare and financial security, the State Bank of India (SBI) Agriculture Commercial Branch in Gonda has successfully settled a personal accident insurance claim of ₹40 lakh under an SBI General Insurance policy and handed over the claim amount to the nominee of the deceased policyholder.

The claim pertained to Mohammad Faiz, who had enrolled in the personal accident insurance scheme by paying an annual premium of just ₹2,000. Following his unfortunate death in a road accident, the insurance claim was processed and settled in favour of his wife and nominated beneficiary, Seeba Bano.

The cheque for ₹40 lakh was presented to Mrs. Seeba Bano by Jai Prakash Ojha, Regional Manager, SBI RBO-Gonda, and Vikas Yadav, Branch Manager, during a formal ceremony.

Bank officials highlighted that the swift settlement of the claim reflects SBI’s dedication to providing timely financial assistance to customers and their families during difficult times. The case also underscores the importance of insurance coverage in safeguarding families against unforeseen tragedies.
