Ranking of State Level Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination released

The Uttar Pradesh government has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the State Level Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination-2024 to Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.

The examination was conducted on 09 June 2024 in a peaceful and copy-free manner at 470 examination centers in 51 districts of the state.

A total of 2,23,384 candidates applied online for the examination.

A high-tech command control room was established in Bundelkhand University in which modern surveillance system was used.

5500 CCTV cameras were installed at the examination centers and live monitoring was done.

Face recognition and finger print attendance were done using AI for biometric attendance.

The result was declared on 25 June 2024, which was before the scheduled date of 30 June 2024.

06 male and 04 female candidates appeared in the first 10.

Manoj Kumar of Aligarh secured first position,  Shiv Mangal  of Prayagraj. secured second position and Nazir Ahmed of Varanasi secured third position.

Ranks were issued to a total of 1,93,062 candidates. Among the successful candidates, 54 percent are women and 46 percent are men.

There were 1746 candidates from agriculture category, 12633 from commerce category, 72342 from science category and 136663 from arts category in the examination

There were 1,08,656 candidates from general category, 69407 from other backward class, 44369 from scheduled caste and 952 from scheduled tribe

1,93,352 candidates appeared in the first shift and 1,93,351 in the second shift

The number of male candidates was 102011 and the number of female candidates was 1,21,372

Among the ranked candidates, there were 1,18,499 from arts category, 62,774 from science category, 10,332 from commerce category and 136663 from agriculture category 1,457 candidates of the category were included

Lucknow:  Bundelkhand University Jhansi was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the state level Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination-2024 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination-2024 was conducted on 09 June 2024 in a fair, clean and peaceful manner at 470 examination centers located in 51 districts of the state. A total of 2,23,384 candidates had applied online for the entrance examination in the examination.

State Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that a hi-tech command control room was set up for the B.Ed Entrance Examination 2024 in Bundelkhand University, in which modern surveillance system was used, through which live monitoring of all the examination centers of the state was done. For this, about 5500 state-of-the-art CCTV cameras equipped with high technology were installed at the centers. During the examination, face recognition and finger print attendance of all the candidates was done using AI for biometric attendance of the candidates. Strong rooms, examination rooms and entry/exit points were strictly monitored at 470 examination centers of the state through modern surveillance system. The Higher Education Minister informed that the result was hereby declared on 25th June 2024 before the date fixed for declaration of the result i.e. 30th June 2024. As per the declared result, among the candidates securing first 10 positions, there are 06 male and 04 female candidates. Shiv Mangal  Science category of Prayagraj district secured second position and Nazir Ahmed Arts category of Varanasi district secured third position in the state. Vice Chancellor Bundelkhand University Prof. Mukesh Pandey informed that among the candidates, 1746 were from agriculture category, 12633 from commerce category, 72342 from science category and 136663 from arts category. Among these, 1,08,656 were from general category, 69407 from other backward class, 44369 from scheduled caste and 952 from scheduled tribe candidates. In comparison to the applications, a total of 1,93,352 candidates participated in the first shift and a total of 1,93,351 candidates participated in the second shift. 102011 male candidates and 1,21,372 female candidates were included. He informed that in this examination, ranks were issued to a total of 1,93,062 candidates, which included 1,18,499 from arts category, 62,774 from science category, 10,332 from commerce category and 1,457 from agriculture category. There are 93,557 candidates from unreserved category, 62,341 from backward class, 36,351 from scheduled caste and 813 from scheduled tribe. Out of total 1,93,062 candidates, 89103 male candidates and 103958 female candidates were issued ranks, 54 percent of the successful candidates are women and 46 percent are men.
