Night Chaupal Organized in Mujhaina Santosh Village to Address Public Grievances and Promote Welfare Schemes

Bareilly: As part of the statewide public outreach campaign being conducted from June 5 to June 21, 2026, to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government, a “Ratri Chaupal” (Night Chaupal) programme was organized in Mujhaina Santosh village of Nawabganj Development Block.

The programme was chaired by Member of Parliament Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar and attended by Nawabganj MLA M.P. Arya, along with district officials and representatives from various departments.

The event formed part of a broader campaign focused on development, public service, good governance, and welfare initiatives. During the interactive session, villagers were given an opportunity to directly present their concerns and grievances before public representatives and government officials.

Residents raised issues related to electricity supply, drinking water facilities, encroachment, and access to benefits under various government welfare schemes. Officials listened to the grievances attentively and resolved many of the complaints on the spot. For issues requiring further action, concerned departments were directed to ensure prompt resolution within a stipulated timeframe.

Addressing the gathering, officials emphasized the government’s commitment to responsive governance and citizen-centric administration. They stated that resolving public grievances quickly and effectively remains a key priority and that such outreach programmes help bridge the gap between the administration and rural communities.

The programme also served as a platform to create awareness about various government welfare schemes. Villagers were informed about eligibility criteria, benefits, and application procedures for different social welfare programmes. Eligible beneficiaries were encouraged to take advantage of these initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and enhancing social security.

Public representatives highlighted the importance of community participation in development efforts and assured villagers that their concerns would continue to receive due attention from the administration.

The Night Chaupal witnessed active participation from local residents, elected representatives, and officials, reflecting the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots governance and ensure that the benefits of development and welfare programmes reach every section of society.
