During the drive, police teams carried out extensive verification of auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw drivers. Officers examined drivers’ documents, verified vehicle registrations, and ensured compliance with legal and safety requirements. Drivers were also advised to strictly follow traffic regulations and maintain courteous behavior with passengers.
The verification campaign witnessed active participation from police personnel, including the In-charge of Amani Ganj Outpost, Sub-Inspector Shuchi Sawant, Sub-Inspector Mohit Yadav, Woman Constable Antima, and Woman Constable Rita.
According to police officials, Project Safe Ride aims to ensure the safety of commuters by creating a reliable and secure public transport network. The initiative focuses on identifying and monitoring unverified drivers and vehicles while encouraging accountability among transport operators.

Officials stated that similar verification drives will continue across the city to enhance public confidence in local transport services and provide citizens with safer and more dependable travel options.
The campaign reflects Lucknow Police’s ongoing commitment to public safety and proactive policing, particularly in areas with high passenger movement and commercial activity.
