Lucknow: The UP Police Constable recruitment exam is set for August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, and will be conducted at 67 centers throughout the state. The exam will be administered in two shifts, with the first shift from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 5 PM.
The Yogi government has prepared an impenetrable plan to conduct the biggest police recruitment examination in the history of the state safely. Following a hawk eye detail, sources say not even a bird can breach the foolproof plan prepared by the Yogi government.
For this, while the Yogi government is using a lot of technology, on the other hand, police force is being deployed at every step. On the instructions of CM Yogi, this time the routes to the examination centers will also be monitored with CCTV. Identified hotspots will be checked with drone cameras. Apart from this, many agencies including STF, local police, crime branch will be active around the examination centers.
It is known that from August 23, written examination is going to be held for the selection of 60,244 posts of police constable in 67 districts of the state.

DGP Prashant Kumar said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had held a high-level meeting regarding the police recruitment examination, in which he discussed in detail about the preparations for the examination.
During this, he had instructed the officials to pay special attention to every small aspect so that there is no disturbance regarding the examination. In such a situation, preparations for the examination have been completed as per the wishes of CM Yogi.
Under this, Additional Director General of Police STF, Traffic, Railways, Dial-112 along with ADG of all zones, Police Commissioner, IG, DIG, SSP and SP have been instructed to remain alert in their respective districts.
This time, to ensure smooth conduct of the examination, special vigil will be kept on the routes to the examination centers with CCTV cameras. Along with this, additional new CCTVs are being installed at highly sensitive places.
At the same time, checking with drone cameras has been arranged at the identified hotspots.
Police officers will be deployed as supervisors at the examination centers, special attention will be kept on crowded places
The DGP said that strict security arrangements have been ensured at the examination centers. For this, SP, ASP and CO have been made supervisors at the examination center. Apart from this, a security officer will also be deployed inside the examination centers.
The examination centers are being closely monitored by administrative and police officials. During this, even the smallest shortcomings are being removed. At the same time, police force will be deployed in view of the crowd and number of candidates at the examination centers.
Apart from this, in coordination with the education department, managers of examination centres and related departments, action has been planned under the emergency plan for vigilance. This time, the situation is being assessed from two days before the examination till the candidates and parents reach their home district after the examination is over, so that police force can be arranged accordingly. Complete arrangements have also been made to control the crowd at examination centres, railway, metro station, bus, taxi stand, hotel, restaurant.
For this, a plan has been made in collaboration with the operators, managers and other important persons there. With the cooperation of all these, monitoring will be done every moment.
Apart from this, gazetted officers and magistrates have been mandatorily deployed at the examination centres.
Photocopy shops, cyber cafes and motorcycle stands around the examination centre will be on the radar of the police. In the police station areas of 67 districts where examination centres have been set up for the police recruitment examination, important and sensitive places around the examination centre have also been marked in the chart of UP-112 PRV vehicles. There will be continuous movement of PRV at these places so that extra vigilance can be exercised by establishing high level coordination between the Intelligence Department, STF and the district police while identifying anti-social elements.
Use of loudspeakers around the examination centres and the guidelines given regarding carrying mobiles, IT gadgets and other objectionable material in the examination premises will be ensured to be followed completely. At the same time, adequate number of police personnel (female/male personnel) will be deployed at the entry points of the examination centres to assist in the search of the candidates. Apart from this, effective checking will be done around photocopy machine shops, cyber cafes, motorcycle stands etc. located near the examination centres.
Adequate security arrangements have been ensured under the supervision of the district police nodal officer and observer to ensure the smooth flow of the students. In such a situation, instructions have been given to remain alert by coordinating with the officials of Railways and State Road Transport Corporation. The control rooms of the district and commissionerate have been made more active. Hospitals have been identified to deal with any emergency situation. For this, the District Magistrate and the officials of the Medical Department have been alerted. Along with this, the social media cell, district intelligence system has been made more active and alert to stop the rumours.
