Lucknow: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) organized a farewell ceremony to honor two employees, Office Assistant Mohammad Ayub and Narendra Yadav, on their retirement after years of dedicated service to the institution.
The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey, who felicitated the retiring employees with mementos and ceremonial shawls in recognition of their valuable contributions to the university.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Pandey lauded both employees for their commitment, sincerity, and disciplined work ethic throughout their careers. He said that Mohammad Ayub and Narendra Yadav had served the university with unwavering dedication and professionalism, carrying out their responsibilities efficiently even under challenging circumstances.
“Both employees have been known for their integrity, hard work, and disciplined approach. They fulfilled their duties with dedication and without allowing pressure or difficulties to affect their performance,” the Vice-Chancellor remarked while wishing them good health, happiness, and a fulfilling post-retirement life.
Registrar Reena Singh also shared her experiences of working with the retiring employees. She particularly praised Mohammad Ayub for his punctuality and sense of responsibility, noting that he consistently performed his duties with commitment, whether it involved working beyond regular hours or coordinating important meetings and official communications.

Several senior university officials also spoke on the occasion and recalled their professional association with the retirees. Among them were Finance Officer Keshav Singh, Controller of Examinations Prof. Deepak Nagariya, Associate Dean (Innovation) Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, and Deputy Registrar Dr. R.K. Singh, who highlighted the dedication and positive work culture exemplified by both employees during their tenure.
The farewell ceremony was attended by faculty members, officers, and staff of the university, who extended their best wishes to the retirees and expressed appreciation for their years of service to AKTU.
The event concluded on a warm and emotional note, celebrating the professional achievements and lasting contributions of Mohammad Ayub and Narendra Yadav to the university community.
