Bareilly: In a student-centric initiative, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has established a Special Admission Help Desk to assist students and parents seeking admission to various academic programmes for the 2026–27 session.
The initiative has been launched under the directions of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh to ensure that prospective students receive timely and accurate guidance regarding the admission process.
Dean of Student Welfare (DSW) Prof. Vinay Rishiwal has constituted a dedicated team for the help desk, which will work in coordination with department heads, designated faculty members, and university staff. The facility will provide information related to courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, admission schedules, departmental facilities, and other academic matters.
Prof. Rishiwal said that many students and parents visit the university during the admission season seeking clarification on various issues. The help desk has been created to provide authentic information at a single point, making the admission process more transparent, convenient, and student-friendly.

The Special Admission Help Desk will operate from June 5, 2026, for the next two weeks at the University Student Support Centre (USSC). It will remain open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Designated teachers and staff from different departments will be available to guide applicants and help them connect with the concerned departments.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh described the initiative as an important step in the interest of students and parents. He said the university is committed to ensuring that every applicant receives complete admission-related information in a simple and timely manner. He also called upon all department heads and university officials to extend full cooperation in making the campaign successful.
The university expects the initiative to significantly benefit applicants and their families by helping them make informed decisions regarding admissions to various courses.
