Gonda: With the proposed visit of the Chief Minister to Chakraut in Karnailganj tehsil of Gonda district, the administration has intensified preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme. Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection of the arrangements on Thursday.
She was accompanied by Inspector General of Police Amit Pathak and District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan. The officials reviewed security measures, sanitation, and other essential facilities at the proposed venue.
During the inspection, the Divisional Commissioner assessed preparations related to security deployment, drinking water supply, electricity, traffic management, and cleanliness. She directed the concerned departments to complete all arrangements within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts, Nagpal instructed officials to work in close collaboration and ensure that no aspect of the preparations is overlooked. She warned that any negligence in view of the Chief Minister’s proposed programme would not be tolerated.

As part of her visit, the Divisional Commissioner also inspected the Panchayat Bhavan at Pairauri and the Community Health Centre in Karnailganj. She reviewed the facilities and sought detailed updates from officials regarding the readiness of the sites. Necessary directions were issued to ensure all arrangements are completed well before the scheduled visit.
Officials and staff from various departments were present during the inspection and briefed the senior officers on the progress of preparations.
