Lucknow – With the spirit of the theme “Relive, Rejoice, and Recharge,” Amiphoria-2025, the annual fest of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, reached new heights of enthusiasm on its second day. The entire campus was transformed into a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent, featuring colorful decorations, enticing food stalls, exhilarating competitions, and engaging games. The central stage of Amiphoria remained the focal point, hosting renowned poets from across the country and the much-anticipated Amity Designers Award Competition.
The second day saw a surge in participation from students, faculty, and visitors, all eager to experience the diverse events and activities. One of the key highlights of the evening was the Mr. and Miss Amity Competition, where winners earn the opportunity to represent Amity in various social initiatives throughout the year. Participants underwent multiple rounds, showcasing their energy and enthusiasm on the ramp. The competition featured an electrifying dance introduction round, followed by a ramp walk segment. Various dance performances by students added to the event’s vibrancy. After intense competition, Aditya Pandey from Amity Law School was crowned Mr. Amity, while Anshika Kaushik from the Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences was named Miss Amity.
The esteemed panel of judges included ASP Anti-Corruption Lucknow, Indu Prabha Singh; Joint Managing Director of Chopra Retec Rubber products Ltd, Pranay Chopra; and Major Divya Sharma, who evaluated the participants based on their talent and performances.
Another major attraction of the day was the grand Kavi Sammelan (poetry gathering) held at the central stage of Amiphoria. Organized jointly by the Abhivyakti Club and the Department of Information and Public Relations, the event featured celebrated poets from across the state, including Sarvesh Asthana, Varun Anand, Ashu Mishra, Abhisar Geeta Shukla, Sapna Moolchandani, and Chandrashekhar Verma. Their mesmerizing compositions captivated the audience.
Sarvesh Asthana earned admiration with his poem, “Rishton Mein Takraar Bahut Hai, Lekin Usmein Pyaar Bahut Hai,” while Chandrashekhar Verma’s ghazal, “paas jab dariya ke kewal ek katra rah gaya, usne tab sahil se poocha kaun pyasa rah gaya? aap to tasveer apni le gaye the saath me, phir meri deewar par ye kiska chehra rah gaya?” received wide appreciation. Similarly, Sapna Moolchandani’s poignant ghazal, “Jab Talak Woh Nazar Nahi Aata, Dard Dil Ka Ubhar Nahi Aata, Jinke Hisse Mein Hain Safarnamein, Unke Hisse Mein Ghar Nahi Hota,” resonated deeply with the audience.
Later in the evening, the Amity School of Fashion Technology hosted the prestigious Amity Designers Award 2025. The competition aimed to celebrate cultural diversity through fashion while providing fashion design students an opportunity to explore global trends and showcase their creativity. Participants hailed not only from Amity University, Lucknow Campus but also from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, IAFDT, and Design Gateway.
A special guest performance was presented by Innovation for Change, an NGO.
The event was inaugurated by chief guest Anita Mishra, Co-owner of Lakmé Salon, Lucknow and Varanasi, along with special guest Kavya Mishra, an international fashion model. The occasion was also graced by Pro Vice Chancellor of Amity University Lucknow, Professor Dr. Anil Vashistha; Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor Wing Commander Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari; Dean Academics Dr. Rajesh Tiwari; Dean Student Welfare Professor Manju Agarwal; and Director of Amity School of Fashion Technology, Professor Dr. Pooja Verma.
The participating designers presented their creations based on themes such as Southern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Indo-Western Fusion.
Additionally, several engaging competitions took place throughout the day, including Antaragni by the Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences, Amity Idol by the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, and A Symphony of Cultures by the Amity Institute of Biotechnology.
Other competitions, such as Technovation, organized by the Amity Institute of Information Technology, and Murder Mayhem by the Amity Law School, also captivated student interest and participation.

The final day of this three-day extravaganza promises an array of exciting competitions across various categories, including music, dance, theater, literature, fine arts, and more, culminating in the grand valedictory ceremony.
