Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a meeting of the District Health Committee today at the Collectorate auditorium, reviewing the state of health services across the district.
During the review, the DM expressed displeasure over the slow progress of e-Sanjeevani, noting that it was falling short of expectations, and directed officials to fix the issue at the earliest. He instructed doctors at all CHCs and PHCs to make sure that every service and activity they carry out is properly logged on the portal, and warned that ANMs found negligent in their duties would face disciplinary action as per rules.
The DM also reviewed payment and registration status under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and directed that improvements be made within a set timeframe. He asked the Chief Medical Officer to keep an eye on CSC centres that are lagging in ASHA payments and take action against those found at fault.
Progress on ABHA ID registration also came up for review. The DM noted that the district currently ranks 15th in this regard and needs to do better. He directed doctors at all CHCs and PHCs to be present at their hospitals by 10 am every day, so that as many patients as possible can be treated.
He also instructed officials to identify more TB patients under the Dastak campaign and ensure all of them receive complete treatment. In addition, he stressed the need for continuous monitoring of complaints received through IGRS and the Chief Minister’s Helpline desk, with an emphasis on resolving them promptly and satisfactorily.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishram Singh, doctors from all CHCs and PHCs, and other concerned officials.
