Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh carried out a site inspection of Islamia Inter College Ground today, taking stock of the preparations and arrangements being made ahead of Urs-e-Ala Hazrat.
During the inspection, the DM, keeping the monsoon season in mind, directed officials to lay jute mats and gravel at the ground to prevent it from becoming slippery. He said that with the convenience of pilgrims (zaireen) in mind, the issue should be resolved within a set timeframe.
He also issued necessary instructions to concerned officials to ensure security, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting, traffic management, and other essential arrangements are put in place on time and to a high standard, so that pilgrims attending the Urs have access to all basic facilities without any hassle. The DM inspected the toilets, drinking water points, barricading, and cleanliness arrangements at Islamia Ground, and said that pilgrims visiting for the Urs should not face any inconvenience whatsoever.

Those present during the inspection included Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Maurya, City Superintendent of Police Manush Pareek, City Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Verma, ACM-I Sant Ranjan, ACM-II Alok Kumar, Mining Officer Manish Singh, and other concerned officials.
