Craftroots Lucknow Exhibition: Celebrating India’s Artistry and Empowering Artisans

Lucknow: The Craftroots Lucknow Exhibition, organized by Gramshree, promises a vibrant display of Indian heritage, showcasing the country’s most cherished handicrafts and artistic traditions. Founded by Anandiben Patel in 1995, Gramshree was established to promote the empowerment and economic upliftment of women through craftsmanship. Now a pioneer in India’s social entrepreneurship landscape, Gramshree has positively impacted the lives of over 75,000 women across both rural and urban areas. By providing women with the opportunity to become self-reliant, Gramshree has created pathways for artisans to connect with the nation’s rich craft traditions, forming a sustainable model that enables creative expression and economic independence.

Craftroots: A Platform for Indian Heritage

Working with over 35,000 artisans, Craftroots has held 77 exhibitions across major cities in India and internationally, including Dubai, the USA, and Singapore.
