New Delhi: In an unconventional move within the Indian smartphone industry, Ai+ Smartphone has announced that its upcoming Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro devices will be distributed to reviewers, creators, journalists, and members of the technology community across India ahead of commercial availability, enabling unrestricted evaluation before retail sales begin.
Rather than following traditional launch formats built around controlled previews and staged messaging, the company is opting for an open review-first approach—positioning the process as a “conversation before a campaign,” prioritising feedback before marketing, and consumers before sales.
“At a time when product launches are often accompanied by carefully controlled narratives, Ai+ is taking a different approach: putting consumer interest ahead of launch-day marketing. We don’t want validation. We want unbiased feedback for user benefit,” said Madhav Sheth.
Under this model, there will be no embargoes, no review guidelines, no scripted talking points, and no curated influencer events. Most notably, the devices will not be made available for purchase until reviewers have completed a seven-day testing window and shared their independent feedback.
Reviewers are being encouraged to evaluate the devices across all key parameters, including hardware performance, software experience, camera quality, battery endurance, connectivity, data transfer, reliability, and overall user experience.

“As a young brand, we are still learning, improving, and earning consumer trust every day. If there is something we’ve missed, we would rather hear it from reviewers before consumers spend their money. That is why the Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro will not go on sale until this feedback window is complete,” Sheth added.
Participants will be free to publish their opinions immediately upon receiving the devices, without restrictions on timing or content. The company has stated that both positive and critical assessments will be welcomed as part of its transparency-led development process.
Ai+ also plans to display reviewer feedback in real time on its official platform, allowing prospective buyers to view independent assessments before the products reach retail shelves.
The initiative aligns with the broader vision of Ai+ Smartphone and its parent ecosystem, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, which aims to reframe traditional product launch cycles through greater accountability, transparency, and user-driven iteration.
The Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro mark the next expansion of the Nova series portfolio positioned under the Nova2 Ultra, targeting wider accessibility while maintaining a focus on iterative improvement and trust-based product development.
