Lucknow: “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” Keeping this thought in mind, International Yoga Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus. The event witnessed the gracious presence of Chairman Mr Mahesh Goel,Principal Dr Rina Pathak ,students, parents and the teachers making it a truly memorable occasion.
The celebration began with a mass yoga session in which participants performed various yogic asanas and breathing exercises under expert guidance. The faculty members from Goel Group of Institutions also participated wholeheartedly, adding to the spirit of togetherness and wellness. The overwhelming participation reflected the growing health consciousness among people and their increasing awareness of the importance of a balanced lifestyle.
During the session, participants were enlightened about the numerous benefits of yoga. Special emphasis was laid on how regular yoga practice can aid in managing and recovering from lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, thereby promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Addressing the gathering, Mahesh Agarwal, Chairman, Goel Group of Institutions, highlighted the significance of incorporating yoga into daily life and encouraged everyone to embrace it as a lifelong practice. Dr. Rina Pathak, Principal, also inspired the audience with her motivating words and stressed the importance of holistic health and inner harmony.

As a meaningful outreach initiative, the school also organized a yoga session at Silver Line Apartment, extending the message of health and wellness to the wider community. The programme was successfully conducted by the dedicated team comprising Jyoti Kashyap, Soibam Sir, Kanchan, Vandana Ma’am, Shambhavi Ma’am, Ravi, Neelam, and Doctors of Goel hospital whose efforts ensured the success of the event.Everyone was given a bowl of healthy sprout salad too.
The celebration concluded on a positive note, leaving everyone inspired to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine.
