Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath interacted with nearly 200 citizens during a Janata Darshan programme held at the revered Gorakhnath Temple on Monday. The Chief Minister personally listened to the grievances of people and directed concerned officials to ensure prompt, fair, and effective resolution of their issues.
During the public hearing, a large number of people approached the Chief Minister seeking assistance for medical treatment, financial aid, housing, and various administrative matters. Assuring citizens of the government’s commitment to public welfare, Yogi Adityanath stated that no deserving person would be left without support.
Addressing those seeking medical assistance, the Chief Minister said that eligible beneficiaries would be provided healthcare support through the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He also assured that financial aid from government funds would be extended wherever necessary to ensure proper treatment for patients in need.
Responding to requests related to housing, the Chief Minister reiterated that eligible beneficiaries continue to receive assistance under both the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme. He emphasized that the government remains committed to providing shelter to deserving families across the state.

Several complainants also raised concerns regarding delays in police and revenue-related matters. Taking serious note of these complaints, Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to act swiftly and ensure that all cases are resolved within a stipulated timeframe. He stressed that administrative action must be transparent, impartial, and satisfactory so that citizens do not face unnecessary hardships.
Apart from attending the Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister also visited the temple’s cowshed, where he performed gau seva by feeding jaggery and green fodder to the cows. During his stay at the temple premises, he interacted warmly with children, blessed them, enquired about their studies, and encouraged them to work hard and pursue their goals with dedication.
The Janata Darshan programme once again reflected the state government’s efforts to maintain direct communication with citizens and ensure timely redressal of public grievances.
