Three-Day Programme Focuses on Moral, Character, and Spiritual Development of Children
Gonda: A three-day Bal Sanskar (Children’s Values and Character Building) Camp organized by the Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti, under the inspiration of renowned spiritual leader Satguru Dev Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj, concluded on Sunday at Shri Hans Gyan Ashram on Utraula Road in Gonda.
The camp, which commenced on June 12, witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 120 children belonging to remote rural areas across the Devipatan Division, including Gonda, Bahraich, and Balrampur districts. The initiative was aimed at nurturing moral values, discipline, spiritual awareness, and positive life skills among young participants.
A variety of educational and recreational activities were conducted throughout the three-day programme, including a cleanliness drive, yoga sessions, sports competitions, cultural performances, and traditional Kanya Pujan ceremonies. Children who demonstrated outstanding performance and active participation were felicitated during the concluding session.
Speaking about the significance of the camp, Shivram Prajapati said that the programme was organized with the vision of Satguru Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj to instill strong ethical, moral, and spiritual values in children from an early age.
“The objective is to encourage children to develop good character, respect their parents and elders, adopt a disciplined lifestyle, and stay away from negative influences. Such initiatives help shape responsible citizens and compassionate human beings,” he said.

The camp also included Saraswati Pujan, Yajna-Havan, yoga training, and interactive sessions designed to inspire children through learning and practical experiences. Organizers emphasized that the activities were carefully planned to make learning enjoyable while imparting valuable life lessons.
Participants and their parents appreciated the initiative, describing it as a meaningful platform for personal growth and cultural enrichment. Organizers expressed hope that the values and lessons imparted during the camp would continue to guide the children in their daily lives.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to promote moral education, spiritual awareness, and character development among the younger generation, reinforcing the broader mission of Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti to contribute to social and human upliftment.
