Lucknow: The Hindi Rajbhasa Patrika “ Aus Vigyan Issue-9” published by CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow, was awarded the First Prize for Outstanding Hindi Publication at the meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (NARAKAS), Office–3, organized by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The award recognizes the Institute’s significant contribution to promoting Hindi and to the effective implementation of the Official Language Policy. The Department of Official Language periodically confers awards and honors to encourage the progressive use of Hindi in various institutions.
During the meeting, member institutions deliberated on the use of Hindi in official work, the increasing adoption of the language in administrative activities, and the quality of Hindi publications. On this occasion, “Aus Vigyan ” was especially appreciated for its rich content, the presentation of scientific articles, the simplicity of its language, and its efforts to disseminate scientific knowledge in Hindi.
The award was received by Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi , Director, CSIR-CIMAP; Dr. Karuna Shankar , Co-Chairman; and Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya , Officer-in-Charge (Hindi). Expressing his happiness over this achievement, Dr. Trivedi congratulated the editorial board, authors, and all employees of the Institute. He stated that the recognition would further inspire the Institute to create and disseminate scientific and technical literature in Hindi.

Reaffirming its commitment to the promotion and wider propagation of Hindi as the Official Language, the Institute resolved to continue its efforts towards strengthening and encouraging the progressive use of Hindi in the years ahead.
