Bharatanatyam Programme ‘Amrit Manthan’ Enthrals Audience at SRMS Riddhima

Bareilly – An evening of classical grace and artistic excellence unfolded at SRMS Riddhima as the Bharatanatyam programme ‘Amrit Manthan’ captivated audiences with a series of soulful performances by gurus and students.

The event celebrated the richness of Bharatanatyam, one of India’s most revered classical dance forms, with participants delivering expressive and technically refined performances that left the audience spellbound.

The programme commenced with a group presentation by young Bharatanatyam students including Aadya, Meher, Avantika, Anika, Ananshi, Chiranya, Myra, Payra, Vandigi, Radhya, Aanvi, Bhavya, Sanvi, Sanskriti, Anuriti, Savya, Akshita, Pragvi, and Shambhavi. Their performance on Bhairavashtakam set a powerful and devotional tone for the evening, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The students continued to showcase their talent through a series of classical pieces such as Ashtalingam, Tantavam Shiv Shiv Shankar, Chandrachooda, and the Bengali composition Achhe Jamai Digambar. Each performance reflected a blend of rhythm, expression, and storytelling, highlighting the depth of their training and dedication to the art form.

Adding further brilliance to the evening, renowned Bharatanatyam gurus Robin A and Tanaya Bhattacharya took to the stage to encourage their students. Robin A delivered a powerful performance on Ardhanarishwara, while Tanaya Bhattacharya mesmerized the audience with her rendition of Shiva Sadakshara Stotram. Their performances not only showcased mastery over the classical form but also served as a source of inspiration and learning for the young dancers.

The programme was anchored by Dr. Ashish Kumar and Deepali Saxena, who ensured a smooth flow of events throughout the evening.

The event was graced by several distinguished presence, including Dev Murti, Founder and Chairman of the SRMS Trust, along with Asha Murti, Aditya Murti, Richa Murti, Devisha Murti, Usha Gupta, Dr. Rajni Agrawal, Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Dr. Anuj Kumar, and Dr. Shailesh Saxena. Their presence added prestige to the organized event and reflected strong support for cultural and artistic initiatives in the region.
