Lucknow: The birth anniversary of noted freedom fighter Babu Shivdayal Chaurasia was commemorated across several Hindi-speaking states by Apna Dal (Sonelal). The party organized tribute programs at multiple locations to honor the contributions of the veteran freedom fighter to India’s independence movement.
The events were held under the directions of the party’s national president Anupriya Patel and the guidance of national general secretary and Madhya Pradesh in-charge R. B. Singh Patel. At the party’s camp office in Lucknow, office bearers and party workers paid floral tributes to the portrait of Babu Shivdayal Chaurasia and remembered his contributions to the freedom struggle.
Similar tribute events were also organized at the party office in Indore under the guidance of political strategist Dr. Atul Malikram, while in Satna the program was held under the chairmanship of former Youth Forum state president Man Singh Bisen.
Speaking on the occasion, R. B. Singh Patel said that the life of Babu Shivdayal Chaurasia symbolized patriotism, struggle and social harmony. He noted that the ideals of such great freedom fighters continue to inspire people to contribute to nation-building and social service. He also stressed the need to pass on their values and sacrifices to the younger generation.
At the Indore event, Dr. Atul Malikram highlighted the sacrifices made by freedom fighters during the independence movement and said that the nation’s freedom and democratic values are the result of their dedication and struggle. He added that the life of Babu Shivdayal Chaurasia teaches the importance of commitment and service toward society and the nation.
In Satna, Man Singh Bisen said that the freedom fighter’s life serves as a powerful inspiration for youth. He encouraged young people to learn from his ideals of sacrifice, dedication and patriotism and to actively contribute to the development of society and the country.
Party leaders and workers attending the programs pledged to continue organizing such events to spread awareness about the contributions of freedom fighters and to carry forward their ideals among the masses. Large numbers of party members participated in the commemorative programs and paid heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighter.
