Lucknow: More than 200 women attended a special screening of the spiritual film Hanuman Ansh organised for women from the Sanatani community at Fun Republic in Gomti Nagar on Tuesday.
The screening was organised under the leadership of Sapna Goyal, associated with Ishwariya Swapnashish Seva Samiti. Legislative Council member Pawan Singh Chauhan attended the event as the chief guest. Laddoos were distributed among the audience as prasad following the screening.
Addressing the gathering, Chauhan described Lord Hanuman as an enduring symbol of devotion, service, courage, humility, dedication and duty in Indian tradition. He said Hanuman’s devotion to Lord Ram demonstrates that true strength lies not merely in physical capability but in using that strength for public welfare and righteousness. He also called upon the younger generation to draw inspiration from Hanuman’s life for self-confidence, discipline, commitment and positive energy.
Sapna Goyal said Hanuman’s reverence and respect for Sita represented the importance of women’s dignity in Indian culture. She urged women to recognise their inner strength, stand firm in difficult circumstances and never compromise their self-respect. She added that strength also encompasses wisdom, patience, courage, compassion and the ability to make the right decisions.
The screening venue echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram”, creating a devotional atmosphere. A resolve was also taken to regularly organise Sundarkand recitations. The gathering further conveyed the messages of “Seva Paramo Dharma” and promoting indigenous products.
