Banke Bihari Temple Introduces Major Changes: Devotees to Get Easier Access to Darshan

Mathura: In a significant step toward improving the spiritual experience of devotees, the management of the iconic Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan has approved a series of new arrangements aimed at ensuring smoother and more accessible darshan.

The most notable development is that devotees will soon be able to have darshan of Shri Banke Bihari Ji from the comfort of their homes. The temple management committee has given the green signal for live-streaming services, enabling millions across the globe to connect with Thakurji virtually. Additionally, large LED screens will be installed around the temple premises to help devotees standing nearby get uninterrupted live visuals of the deity.

Key Decisions Taken in the Committee Meeting

The high-powered committee, chaired by Ashok Kumar, approved the proposal during a meeting held on Thursday. Officials from Su-Yogya Media demonstrated the live-streaming capability and the visuals that will be displayed on the large screens to ensure clarity and accessibility for the crowd.

Ashok Kumar directed that the screens be set up at major intersections and public points around the temple, especially those prone to heavy gatherings. This move aims to reduce congestion inside the temple and allow more devotees to participate in darshan without discomfort.

Plans for Mohanbhog Prasad Distribution Under Discussion

Another important update relates to the distribution of Mohanbhog, a special offering at the temple. While the committee has expressed interest in beginning prasad distribution, discussions with the temple’s sevayats are still underway. These talks will determine how the prasad will be prepared, handled, financed and distributed.

A final decision on the Mohanbhog prasad arrangement will be taken in the upcoming committee meeting after consultations are complete.

With these forward-looking measures, the Banke Bihari Temple aims to blend tradition with modern technology, ensuring that both local devotees and worshippers across the world can experience the divine grace of Thakurji with greater ease.
